Create an account, add your first monitor and decide where alerts go. It takes about five minutes.
1. Create your account
Sign up with your email address, or with Google or GitHub if the sign-in page offers them. You get a workspace of your own on the Free plan. Confirm your email address with the link we send: it's needed for password resets and before you can email alerts to other people.
2. Add a monitor
Go to Monitors → New monitor, pick what to check (a website, an API, a database, a cron job…) and enter its address. Uplance starts checking right away and shows the result within a minute. See Monitors for every type.
3. Choose where alerts go
Under Webhooks → New, add an alert channel: email, Discord, Slack, Telegram, ntfy, Microsoft Teams or your own endpoint. Or turn on push notifications for this device under Your account. Then press Run a drill to send a test to every channel. See Alerts.
4. Share your status page
Every workspace has a public status page at /s/your-workspace. Give it your name, logo and colours under Settings, and connect your own domain under Domains. See Status pages.
5. Protect your account
Turn on two-factor authentication under Your account, and invite a teammate under Team so someone else hears about outages too.
The overview shows a "Get started" checklist with these steps until they're done.
