Uplance Monitor types Minecraft
Monitor your Minecraft server
Uplance speaks the server list ping protocol, so it sees your server the way a player's client does — not the way a web request does.

The problem
Your players find out the network is down before you do, and then four hundred people ask about it in Discord at once.
A plain HTTP check can't help here: the box answers pings, the panel says the process is running, and the server is still refusing connections or stuck on a chunk it can't load.
What the check looks at
Online state
Whether the server answers the server list ping at all, and how long it took.
Player count
Current and maximum players, kept as history you can chart and publish.
Version
The version string the server reports, so a failed update is visible immediately.
MOTD
The message of the day, which is often the first thing a broken start-up changes.
And the alert actually arrives
Most monitoring tools are fine until the one time the alert doesn't arrive. Uplance is built so that can't happen quietly.
- Every alert is written to an outbox before it is sent, and retried for about fifty minutes. A restart doesn't lose it.
- Once a week, a real test event is sent through every channel you've configured, and you're told which ones failed.
- If the alert pipeline is in trouble, the dashboard says so — it isn't buried in a log file.
- If the checker itself stops, the health endpoint returns 503 so an outside heartbeat can page you, and your status page says monitoring has stopped instead of showing stale green.
Common questions
- Does it work with Bedrock as well as Java?
- Add the server by host and port and Uplance queries it the way a client would. For anything it can't reach directly, a TCP monitor on the port plus a heartbeat from a plugin covers the same ground.
- Can my players see the status page?
- That's the point of it. Every workspace gets a public page with 90-day uptime bars and live player counts per server, and on paid plans it runs on your own domain — status.yournetwork.net.
- How do alerts reach my staff?
- Through your own Discord bot, posting under your network's name and avatar, with I'm on it, Mute 1 h and Resolve buttons on the message. Email, Slack, Telegram, ntfy, Teams and web push work too.
- What if a whole node goes down?
- Mark the servers on it as depending on a monitor for the node. While the node is down, its servers fold into one alert and one incident instead of paging you once per server.
