Cancelling a paid plan#

You can cancel a paid plan at any time, without signing in, at https://uplance.cloud/cancel ("Cancel contracts here", linked at the bottom of every page), or under Billing → Manage billing in the dashboard. We confirm a cancellation by email right away. So that nobody can cancel someone else's plan, an ordinary cancellation sent there without being signed in with the account's email address is carried out once you confirm it with the link in that email; if you don't, we check the request and process it by hand. The plan stays active until the end of the month or year you have paid for; after that your workspace moves to the Free plan and you won't be charged again.

When the workspace moves to Free, monitors and features beyond the Free limits are paused. Nothing is deleted, and everything resumes if you upgrade again.

To delete your account and all its data, use Your account → Delete account. Deleting an account with an active paid plan also ends the subscription.

Refunds#

When you cancel, payments for the current period aren't refunded, unless you withdraw from the contract (see below), the law requires a refund, or we couldn't provide the service for reasons we're responsible for.

Switching between paid plans is prorated automatically: an upgrade charges the difference for the rest of the period, a downgrade is credited against your next invoice.

If you were charged by mistake, write to [email protected] within 30 days and we'll correct it.

Right of withdrawal#

If you're a consumer, you have the following right of withdrawal.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email), or use the withdrawal function "Withdraw from contract" under Billing in the dashboard (https://uplance.cloud/dashboard/billing/withdraw). You can use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. Our contact details:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal#

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

How the withdrawal function works#

Under Billing → Withdraw from contract, the workspace owner confirms their name and the email address for the confirmation and presses "Confirm withdrawal". The subscription ends at once, the workspace moves to the Free plan, the refund is issued to the payment method you used, and we send a confirmation of receipt with the date and time of your withdrawal by email. The function is available for 14 days after the subscription started.

If you asked for the plan to start right away when subscribing, the refund is reduced by the share of the billing period that has already passed; otherwise you get back everything you paid.

Withdrawal or cancellation?#

Withdrawal is your statutory right to undo the contract within 14 days of subscribing, and it gets your money back (less the days used, see below). Cancellation ends a running plan at the end of the period you have paid for, without a refund for that period. If you subscribed less than 14 days ago, withdrawal is usually the better choice. Both are available without signing in at https://uplance.cloud/cancel.

When the right of withdrawal ends early#

Your right of withdrawal only ends before the 14 days are over if we have provided the service in full, and only if we started at your express request and you confirmed that you know you lose the right once the contract is fully performed.

A paid plan is provided over the whole month or year, so it is not provided in full when you subscribe, and your right of withdrawal stays in place for the full 14 days. If you withdraw after the plan has started, you pay only the share described under "Effects of withdrawal".

We ask for your request to start right away with a checkbox before checkout that is not ticked in advance. We store the time you gave it and repeat it in the confirmation email we send after you subscribe. The share kept on withdrawal is the part of the billing period that has passed until your withdrawal, to the second. There are no other deductions, flat fees or handling charges.
