Uplance Monitor types
Every monitor type
Each of these speaks the protocol it names, rather than pinging a port and hoping. Pick the one you run and the page says what the check actually looks at.
Minecraft
Monitor your Minecraft server
Uplance speaks the server list ping protocol, so it sees your server the way a player's client does — not the way a web request does.
Discord bot
Monitor whether your Discord bot is online
Uplance checks presence the way Discord itself reports it, through a real gateway connection — not by asking your host whether the process is alive.
Heartbeat
Monitor cron jobs and background work
Some things only fail by not happening. A heartbeat monitor watches for silence, which is the one failure an ordinary check can never see.
Certificate
Monitor SSL certificate expiry
Every HTTP monitor tracks its certificate automatically. There is nothing to configure and nothing to remember.
Database
Monitor Postgres, MySQL and Redis
A database monitor opens a real connection and runs a real query. An open port proves almost nothing.
FiveM
Monitor your FiveM server
Uplance asks your FiveM server the same question the server browser asks it, over its own dynamic.json endpoint on port 30120.
Source / Steam
Monitor your Rust, ARK or CS2 server
Uplance sends a real A2S_INFO query — the same one the Steam server browser sends — and answers the challenge the way a game client does.
Redis
Monitor whether Redis is really answering
Uplance connects to Redis the way your application does, authenticates, and runs a command. An open port proves almost nothing.
MySQL
Monitor whether MySQL accepts connections
Uplance opens a real connection to MySQL or MariaDB, authenticates, and runs a real query — the same three things your application has to do.
Domain expiry
Never lose a domain to an expiry date
Every domain you monitor is checked against the registry's own record once a day, and you are warned 30, 7 and 1 days before it expires.
DNS
Know when a DNS record changes
Uplance resolves the record you name and compares the answer to the value you expect. A record that resolves to the wrong thing is not a healthy record.
JSON
Monitor an API by what it returns
Uplance reads the JSON your API returns and checks the fields inside it. A 200 with the wrong body is still a broken API.
Browser
Monitor the flow, not just the page
A real Chromium browser loads your site, clicks through the steps you gave it, and fails on the step that broke — with the step named.
Blocklist
Know the day your mail server gets listed
Uplance asks the five blocklists that actually decide whether your mail is delivered, and tells you the day your IP appears on one.
Keyword
Monitor what the page actually says
Uplance reads the response body and checks whether the text you named is there — or whether text that should never appear has shown up.
