An Atlassian Statuspage alternative that also does the monitoring

Atlassian Statuspage's pricing checked . Prices move — tell us if this is out of date and we'll fix it.

Atlassian Statuspage is the status page most people picture when they hear the words. It is the category definer, and it is very good at the one thing it does.

That is also the catch: it only does that one thing. Statuspage does not monitor anything. You pay Statuspage to publish the page, and you pay someone else to tell you what to publish.

What Statuspage does better

Subscriber management at scale. 25,000 subscribers on Enterprise, with granular component subscriptions so people can follow only the parts they care about. If you have tens of thousands of customers who want email updates, this is built for you.

Audience-specific pages. Separate pages for separate customers, from $300/month. Useful if you are contractually obliged to show different things to different accounts.

Deep Atlassian integration. If your incidents already live in Jira and Opsgenie, it plugs straight in.

Customisation. Custom CSS, HTML and JavaScript on the higher tiers — you can make it look like anything.

Where we differ

We monitor and publish; they only publish. With Statuspage you are buying a second product on top of a monitor. With us, the checks, incidents and page are one thing — an incident opens from a failed check, and the page updates without you wiring anything together.

The free tier is a different shape. Statuspage's free plan allows 100 subscribers and 2 team members. Ours does not meter status page subscribers at all; the limits are on monitors and members.

Their paid pricing starts higher for a page alone. Hobby is $29/month for 250 subscribers and 5 team members — for the page only. Our Pro at €19/month includes 50 monitors, 60-second checks, browser flows, a custom domain and two extra pages.

Which one to pick

Statuspage if you need to notify tens of thousands of subscribers, need per-audience pages, or your incident process already lives in Atlassian. Our page does not compete at that scale.

Uplance if your status page and your monitoring should be the same product, and if paying $29 a month for a page that cannot tell you anything has started to feel strange. For most teams the page matters because the monitoring is behind it.

Try it against your own services.

10 monitors, 30 days of history, no credit card. The alerting proof is on the free plan too — that is the part you cannot evaluate from a feature table.
