Minecraft server status checker

Paste a server address and see what a player's client sees: online or not, who's on, the version and the MOTD. No account, nothing stored.

The address players use. Add :port only if it isn't the default 25565.

Checking once tells you now. It doesn't tell you at 3am.

This page answers the question you have right now. The thing you actually want is to be told without asking — which is the same check, running every few minutes, with somewhere for the answer to go.

  • The same server list ping, every 30 seconds on Business, every 3 minutes on the free plan.
  • A public status page with live player counts and 90 days of uptime bars, so your Discord can check instead of asking you.
  • Alerts in your own Discord bot — your name, your avatar — with I'm on it, Mute 1 h and Resolve buttons.
  • Players can press “Having problems?” on the status page; enough reports in ten minutes raise an alert even while the ping still succeeds.

Common questions

Why does my server show as offline when I can join it?
Usually one of three things: the address is a SRV record that resolves elsewhere, the port isn't 25565, or the server has query and status replies disabled. Servers on private networks can't be reached from here at all.
Does this work for Bedrock servers?
This tool speaks the Java server list ping. Bedrock uses a different protocol — inside Uplance you'd cover it with a TCP monitor on the port.
Do you store the addresses I check?
No. The lookup happens when you press the button and nothing about it is kept. There's no account here and no tracking.
Can I get told when my server goes down?
That's what the free account is for. The same check runs every few minutes, keeps the history, publishes a status page with player counts, and alerts your Discord when the server stops answering.
