Common questions
- Why do I see a different answer than my computer does?
- This asks from our network, and you're asking from yours. Right after a change the two disagree until every resolver's cache has expired — which is what a record's TTL controls.
- Nothing came back for a record type. Is that a problem?
- Usually not: most domains don't have every type. An empty answer for a type you don't use is normal. An empty answer for A or MX is not.
- Can you tell me when a record changes?
